This ledger for District No. 2 of Cooper provides the attendance and grade records of the students from September of 1923 - May of 1927. For each year, the list of students show the number of grade levels taught by the spacing between names. At the tops of the pages are the date and school's location. A page shows the final scores of each student for the year, with a description of student work for the year. Instead of names, the students are referred to by number. A monthly summary and report to the district's director show the breakdown of the students. And in case the teacher was not returning for the next year, a report helps to define the how the groups work. After the 1926-27 school year, there are monthly attendance reports that note the weather and for some students state the reason for an absence. Lists of visitors to the school each year, with comments, completes the ledger.
Jug Corners School was actually located in Cooper Township, but the district included part of Alamo Township.
